noetra

Find the revenue you are quietly losing.

We define how each deal should be priced, invoiced and paid, then compare it with the records in your systems.

The problem

Month-end can close cleanly while invoices are still wrong.

One deal is recorded in several places: the CRM, the signed contract, the billing system, the ledger and the bank. Each system balances on its own, and nothing checks that they describe the same deal.

What we look for

The systems we read and the errors we look for.

Systems

  1. Product access your provisioning or entitlement system
  2. Quotes and contracts Salesforce, HubSpot, CPQ, a folder of signed PDFs
  3. Invoicing Zuora, Chargebee, Stripe Billing
  4. Ledger and cash NetSuite, Exact, bank

Common errors

  • Discounts approved at one rate and charged at another
  • Uplift clauses not applied at renewal
  • Usage delivered but not billed
  • Mid-term upgrades that were not invoiced
  • Failed payments that were not followed up
  • Deferred revenue that does not tie
  • Price caps that invoices exceed
  • Contracts left behind by your last platform migration

How it works

01

Written scope

A short document that lists the systems we need and what you receive.

02

The standard

The people who run sales, billing and finance are interviewed, and the way each product should be priced, invoiced and paid is written down. You sign it off before any data is examined.

03

Access

Credentials are read-only and cover only the systems in the written scope.

04

Delivery

Every difference found is listed, whether too little or too much was billed. Each one shows the records behind it and its effect on cash, reported revenue or data quality. See a sample report.
